You may need to install one of these to build Motif version:
    sudo apt-get install libmotif-dev
    sudo apt-get install lesstif2-dev
  Then should be a simple
    configure; make

Try resizing the puzzle. Notice the puzzle resizes to take advantage of
  the "room" available.

Try editing the file Dino.ad to get a certain feature and then copying
to $(HOME)/Dino (where Dino is the file name) and running xdino
again. There is also a Windows port (wdino), though not all features
  are included.

If you were looking for a auto-solver for Period 2, sorry. If you know
  of one let me know.

Also a tesseract (4D cube) would be nice. (Does such an analog exist
  for 4d?)

Personally, I have solved "Period 3" mode using this program.
The "Period 2" mode was suggested by Derek Bosch <bosch@sgi.com>.
The physical puzzle ("Period 3") is now available. It is called
a Triangle - 4 Cube - Dinosaur with colored dinosaurs on it, (or
  Triangle - 4 Cube - 6 Colors with solid colors, (a 4 color and a
2 color are also available with point oriented coloring)).

Refer to the man page for detailed command line options and instructions
  on how to operate.

If you want further information on puzzles, I'll be glad :-) to send
  it to you.
